HOW TO RECYCLE IT
Empty, rinse, and flatten. Plastic can be placed in the bin labeled "Household Containers" at the recycling centers.
WHAT NOT TO RECYCLE & HOW TO DISPOSE OF IT

Styrofoam of any kind

Large bulky or rigid plastics (larger than a 5-gallon bucket)

Composites: more than one kind of plastic or with attached metal rivets, bolts

Construction debris such as vinyl siding, pipe, tubing, pool liners

Film, such as food wrap

Sports equipment (helmets, etc.)

Shower curtains and rings

Toys, garden hoses, Christmas lights, window blinds

Most of these items can be disposed of in your regular trash. Large items can be taken directly to Cherokee Run Landfill on Route 68 N., or if you live in Bellefontaine, obtain a bulky item bag from the City Utility Office, 937-592-3561, for a fee.
